The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of various Assistant Professor posts in various universities of Odisha.
Eligible candidates can apply for OPSC Recruitment 2021 on their official website opsc.gov.in from 15 February 2021 to 22 March 2021.

Salary Details:
Cell I Level 10 of the Pay Matrix under the Odisha Revised Pay Scale (UGC Pay Scale) Rules, 2019 for University Teachers along with General Dearness Allowance and other allowances
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree (or wherever grading system is followed) or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university with 55% marks in a subject related to an Indian university. 5% discount will be given for SC / ST / PWD candidates.
In addition, the candidate must pass the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar examination recognized by the UGC, such as SLET / SET or those who have been awarded PhD degrees. According to the university grant.
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
Age Range:
Minimum age limit- The candidate should have attained the age of 21 years on 01.01.2021. Maximum age limit – no limit (normal age limit becomes the maximum age limit by default).
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted for each subject as per UGC guidelines.
The Commission has decided that when the number of vacancies does not exceed two, the vacancies will be shortlisted for interview five times. For subjects where there are only one or two vacancies, ten candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
The candidates will be shortlisted for interview as per their academic score specified in Appendix II (Table 3A) for the Universities of UGC Regulation, 2018 and then they will be selected according to their interview performance.
