PSPCL ALM Selection Process
The Selection of candidates for Assistant Lineman (ALM) will be done on the basis of Online Competitive Examination. Those aspirants who will qualify the online examination they will call Further Selection Procedure. There are Following stage of Selection Procedure:
- Online Examination
- Final Merit List
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination

The Selected Candidates shall undergo training at Technical Training Institute Shakti Vihar, PSPCL, Patiala.

Other Important Points To Be Noted:
- Language Of Exam: Online Exam will be Bilingual (English/Punjabi)
- Time Duration:
- Type Of Questions: The Question Paperwill consist of 100 Objective Type Questions (MCQ).
- Marking: One Marks will be awarded for each Correct Answer.
- Negative Marking: There will be NO negative marking.
PSPCL ALM Qualifying Marks
- General Category Candidates: 30%
- Reserve Category Candidates: 25%
Reserve category includes the EWS, SC, BC, Ex- Serviceman, Freedom Fighter, Sports Person, and PWD candidates. If two or more candidates secure same marks, then theirrelative merit list shall be determined by their age with Higher age Candidates placed at Higher Merit.
PSPCL Assistant Lineman Documents Verfication
On the basis of results/Final merit List, Candidates who Qualify in Online Examination shall be called for Document Verification. Checking of Origional Documents & Certificates would be conducted By Document Verification Committee, for which PSPCL ALM DV date shall be updated later through registered E-Mail Ids & Official website of PSPCL WWW.PSPCL.IN.
