UPRVUNL Assistant Engineer Selection Process
The Selection of candidates for Assistant Engineer is based on Marks obtained in Written Examination and Interview. The selection process of UPRVUNL Assistant Engineer consist of:
- Written Examination (CBT)
- Interview
- Documents Verification
UPRVUNL Assistant Engineer AE Examination Center
Examination Centre: The written examination will be held in the cities of Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida. The venue of the examination may be changed or decreased/ increased depending on the number of candidates or in special circumstances. No email/ correspondence will be accepted regarding change of examination center and examination center cannot be changed. The interview and Documents Verification of the shortlisted and qualified candidates in the written examination will be held in Lucknow district.
UPRVUNL Assistant Engineer Written Exam Pattern
In the first phase, Computer Based Examination (CBT) examination will be conducted for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Electrical & Mechanical and Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Civil, in which all questions will be objective type. The duration of the exam (CBT) will be 3 hours. In Computer Based Examination (CBT), it is mandatory for the Scheduled Caste category candidates to get minimum 28 percent and other category candidates to get minimum 33 percent marks. Syllabus for Assistant Engineer (E & M) Trainee Cadre:
- PART – I: There shall be 150 objective type questions from the syllabus of GATE – 2022 for degree in relevant Branch ( Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science ).
- PART – II: There shall be 50 objective type questions consisting of General Hindi , General Knowledge and Reasoning.
Syllabus for Assistant Engineer (Civil) Trainee Cadre:
- PART – I: There shall be 150 objective type questions from the syllabus of GATE – 2022 for Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering .
- PART – II: There shall be 50 objective type questions consisting of General Hindi , General Knowledge and Reasoning.
