SSC Head Constable Recruitment 2022 – 1411 Vacancy
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for the 1411 Head Constable (Driver) posts. For this, 12th pass candidates up to the age of 30 years can apply by visiting the official website of SSC https://ssc.nic.in/ till July 29. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test.
Educational Qualification – Eligibility Criteria for SSC Head Constable
To join the recruitment process, the candidate must have passed 12th from any recognized board. Along with this, the candidate should have a valid license of heavy motor vehicle.
Age Limit – Eligibility Criteria for SSC Head Constable
For the posts of constable, the age of the general category candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years. Whereas reserved category candidates are given age relaxation as per government rules. There is a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category. Whereas OBC candidate will get 3 years relaxation. Whereas a provision of 5 years relaxation has been made for all categories of candidates under sports quota.
Selection Process
In the recruitment process, the candidate will have to pass the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the selection. This exam will be of 100 marks. There is no negative marking in it. In this, 20 questions from General Knowledge, 20 questions from General Intelligence i.e. Reasoning, 10 questions from Arithmetic and 50 questions related to knowledge about road rules, vehicle maintenance, vehicle pollution will be asked. These questions will be asked of 10th standard level. After passing this, there will be a physical test. After clearing all these, the final selection will be done on the basis of document verification and then merit.
Salary – Pay Scale
On getting selected in the recruitment process, the candidate will be given salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 every month.
Application fees
General / OBC candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 to appear in the recruitment process. Whereas fee will not be charged from SC / ST / Women / Ex-Servicemen.
