Chandigarh Police Constable Application Fees

Chandigarh Police Constable Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The Age Limit of the candidates for the Constable (Band) is to be in range from 18 to 25 years (as on 01.01.2022). Age Relaxation is also applicable as rules mentioned in Official Notification.
Educational Qualifications: The candidates should possess minimum Educational Qualification i.e. 10+2th Standard. Relaxation in Educational Qualification is also applicable as follows as:
- For a person who has retired from the defence service and has worked as a member of the defence Band Staff, the minimum educational qualification will be middle standard;
- For a person who has performed in Police Band or in Central Para Military Forces, the minimum educational qualification will be middle standard.
Physical Standard: Minimum Physical Ability as follows as
- Height: 5’7”
- Chest (only for male): 33” (with expansion of one and half inch)
Relaxation In Height & Chest:
- 2” relaxation in height to the resident of hill area will be available on production of Hill Area Certificate at the time of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) issued by the Competent Authority i.e. DC/DM/SDM or Tehsildar of their place of residence.
- 2” relaxation in Height and chest to the wards (sons only) of working/retired/ deceased (except dismissed, compulsory retired or removed from service) employees of Chandigarh Police.
- 2” relaxation in Height and Chest to candidates who retired from the Defence service and have worked as a member of the Defence Band Staff.
- 2” relaxation (either in Height or in Chest) to candidates who have served in Band Staff in Police or in Central Para Military Force
