Jharkhand Excise Constable 2022 Selection Process
Nature and Selection of Excise Constable: The selection will be made in the following three stages –
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Written Examination
- Medical Examination
JSSC Excise Constable Exam Pattern 2022 Details
Candidates successful in Physical Efficiency Test will be called for written test. On the basis of written examination, candidates will be selected for medical examination, three times the number of vacancies, reservation category wise, according to the merit.
Jharkhand Excise Constable 2022 Physical Efficiency Test
Physical Efficiency Test for the selection of Excise Constable is exam of Qualifying Nature. In PET no marks will be given. The selection board will make available the list of qualified and unqualified candidates in physical measurement and physical fitness to the commission.
JSSC Excise Constable Written Exam 2022 Pattern
The written examination will consist of the following three papers. The duration of the examination for each paper will be of two hours. Each question in all the three papers will be of three marks. Three marks will be awarded for the correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. All the questions in all the three papers will be objective type and multiple choice answer based.
JSSC Excise Constable Pre Exam Pattern
- Paper 1: Subject – Language Knowledge

Note: To pass this exam, the minimum qualifying marks of 30 percent will be fixed. Candidates securing marks less than the minimum qualifying marks will be considered as unsuccessful / ineligible for selection for appointment. The marks obtained will not be added for the determination of merit.
- Paper 2: Subject – Regional / Tribal Language Knowledge
- Urdu / Santhali / Bangla / Mundari (Munda) / Ho / Khadia / Kudukh (Uraon) / Kurmali / Khortha / Nagpuri / Panchpargania / Odia
- Candidates on the basis of examination choice of any one language Can give In this examination, one hundred (100) multiple choice answer based questions will be asked from the respective language.
Note – It will be mandatory to obtain minimum 30 percent marks in paper 02.
- Paper 3: Subject General Knowledge, Science, Math, Knowledge Related to Jharkhand
The number of questions asked in this paper will be 120 (one hundred and twenty) and the subject and number of questions will be as follows:
