UPSC ESE & GSE Notification 2022: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification of Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2022 and Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination 2022 today, on 22 September 2021. The notification for both the preliminary exams was released on the official website of the commission, @upsc.gov.in. With the issuance of UPSC ESE Prelims Notification 2021 and UPSC GSE Prelims Notification 2022, the process of applying for the Preliminary Examination has also started. Interested candidates will be able to apply through the online application form to be activated on the Commission’s application portal, upsconline.nic.in.

  • UPSC has fixed 12 October 2021 as the last date to apply online for both preliminary examinations.

UPSC ESE GSE Prelims Exam Date 2022

Union Public Service Commission had announced the date of UPSC ESE and GSE Prelims exam through recently released exam calendar for the year 2022. According to the commission’s schedule, the Engineering Services Preliminary Examination and Geo-Scientist Preliminary Examination are to be conducted on 20 February 2022.

UPSC ESE 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: As per the notification released for UPSC Engineering Services Exam, candidates willing to apply for the exam must have passed Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) from a recognized university or other higher education institution.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st January in the year of examination. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules.

UPSC GSE 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification: As per Geo-scientist notification only those candidates who have obtained Masters degree in Geology or related fields from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Age is less than 21 years and more than 32 years as on 1st January in the year of examination. Don’t be Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit. For more details and other details refer the notification to be issued by UPSC.
